Knots tutorial — Basics

Organising Client Work with Knots

1. Get to Know the Layout

  • The left side shows your clients list — think of it like folders in Apple Notes.

  • The right side displays all sessions related to the selected client.

2. Add a New Client

  • Click to add a new client, e.g. “Ana”.

  • Once created, add a new session titled something like “Session One.”

3. Take Notes Your Way

  • Notes can be written during the session (live) or afterwards, based on your preference and workflow.

4. Plan Ahead

  • Create a new session in advance.

  • Adjust the date to the next meeting.

  • Add preparation notes or plans in the space provided.

5. Remove Sessions or Clients

  • To delete a session, open the contextual menu (right-click) and choose Delete.

  • To delete a client, use the same process from the client list.

6. Wrapping Up

  • That’s it! Knots helps keep everything streamlined and in one place.
